Ichigen Inc., which became a VIA Group company in October 2007, operates a chain of comprehensive izakaya called Shokusaiya Ichigen, and as of the end of April 2007, it runs 31 outlets mainly in Saitama, Chiba and Tokyo prefectures. Beginning this fiscal year, we positioned the three points of love, wisdom and vigor as the cores of the guidelines for our activities. These three words were thought out based on the i, chi, and gen of “ichigen,” respectively, based on a kind of word play. “Love” means our wish to make all our customers and parties concerned happy, “wisdom” represents our technologies that satisfy all our customers, and “vigor” represents our stance toward bringing smiles to our customers’ faces. This fiscal year, we will train personnel and strengthen our capabilities to attract customers to our existing outlets, in line with these guidelines for our activities.
